We are Mr. Taylor and his Dirty Dixie Band. We come from Bloomington, Indiana and we're all students at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. A few weeks ago, we played our first gig at Cafe D'Jango and it was a great success! People have been asking about us and when we are going to play next...so we made this site. What an easy way for all of you to see when and where our next shows are.
Soon we'll have recordings, photos, more blogs about our endeavors, more shows, and well...more!
Excited would be an excellent describer for our attitude toward this group! We are excited to play together; we're all friends here. We are excited to play for all of you; you're great people. And we are so excited to bring a style of music to the forefront that needs to be in the forefront; because it's great music!
